One major concern is the 2025 release of Mafia: The Old Country, a game that many GTA fans are also excited about. The worry is that if both games come out around the same time, players will have to choose between them, and GTA 6 is likely to get most of the attention.

“I hate that Mafia is competing with GTA 6 in the same year,” one user commented. “I really like both games. I hope Mafia comes out before GTA 6.”
