Rockstar has only released one official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), and fans are going wild analyzing every second of it. With so little information, it’s no surprise that they’re diving deep into the trailer for clues.
One Twitter user has taken it even further. They broke down the minute-and-a-half trailer, pointing out what they believe are “mistakes” made by Rockstar.
Released back in December, the trailer gave us our first real look at GTA 6. As expected, it went viral, gathering millions of views in just 24 hours.
Now, nine months later, with no new trailer, fans are revisiting it, looking for more hints about the game.
But one fan might have gone too far. They posted a Twitter thread from the account GTA 6 Countdown, highlighting 17 clips and screenshots from the trailer, mostly pointing out physics errors in the game.
However, most of their claims were debunked by community notes on Twitter, showing that the “mistakes” weren’t really mistakes.
Things got even more interesting when a Rockstar developer joined the conversation.
Zara, a gameplay systems engineer at Rockstar, responded to the thread on Twitter with a sarcastic comment: “Breaking news: video game is actually a video game.” Her reply got a lot of attention, and fans found it hilarious.
One fan commented, “GTA 6 Countdown got roasted by a Rockstar developer,” while another joked, “Please remove all the polygons from GTA 6. Games in 2025 should only be visible from the 4th dimension.”
As fans eagerly wait for GTA 6, some are getting impatient. Hopefully, the next trailer will drop soon and give them something new to focus on.
