GTA 6 Map Overview

Based on all available information from leaks, official trailers, and community research, the GTA 6 map is set in the state of Leonida (based on Florida) with Vice City as its main urban center.

Map Size & Scale

Current estimates suggest the GTA 6 map will be approximately 70% larger than GTA 5's Los Santos. The map is divided into six major areas with different environments and population densities.

Main Areas of Leonida

Vice City

The main urban center, based on Miami. Features iconic beaches, skyscrapers, and neon-lit streets where excess rules. All of America's glamor, hustle, and greed are amplified in this city.

Leonida Keys

A party paradise built atop a tropical archipelago (based on Florida Keys). If you've got the cash to flash, this is the place to be, but beware of dangers lurking in the waters.

Grassrivers

The wetlands of Vice City (based on the Everglades). Expect alligators, ancient swamps untouched by human progress, and weird attractions in these untamed lands.

Port Gellhorn

The darker side of paradise (likely based on Tampa or Fort Myers). Home to cheap motels, abandoned malls, and attractions that have seen better days.

Ambrosia

A hub for American history in the heart of Leonida (based on central/south Florida towns). Features the Allied Crystal Sugar refinery, blue collar workers, and biker gangs.

Mount Kalaga National Park

For a walk on the wild side (based on Providence Canyon in Georgia). Offers fishing, hunting, and off-road riding, but also home to hillbilly mystics and paranoid people.

Northern Border

Recent findings suggest the northern region may border another state called "Gloriana" (likely based on Georgia), with Mount Kalaga acting as a natural border between states.

Main Characters

Jason Duval

One of the two main protagonists. Former Army member who wants an easy life but things keep getting harder. Works as a contractor on the side.

Lucia Caminos

The first female protagonist in GTA's main series. Recently released from prison and wears an ankle monitor. Trained fighter whose father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk.

Cal Hampton

Jason's friend. Has some crazy ideas and seems to be involved in Jason's criminal activities.

Notable Characters

Boobie Ike

Local club owner and likely a criminal boss in Vice City.
