Sony’s upcoming mid-generation PlayStation 5 Pro upgrade has a hefty price tag, reportedly around $700.

But if it came with a special GTA 6 edition, many gamers would likely be more than willing to spend the cash.

While it’s expected that a lot of players will be buying the PS5 Pro just to play GTA 6, Sony hasn’t confirmed any official collaboration with Rockstar Games for a special edition console yet.

However, a talented artist has shared a concept design of what a GTA 6 themed PS5 Pro might look like, sparking excitement among fans.

Reddit user GGMOBBIN recently posted a stunning custom design for a GTA 6 PS5 Pro on the GTA 6 subreddit.

The concept replaces the usual white faceplates of the console with a stylish pink and purple color scheme, matching the colors often associated with the GTA 6 logo.

The design also includes subtle palm tree imagery on the console’s body, giving it a unique look without being too flashy.

Unlike some special edition consoles that can be overwhelming, this concept strikes a perfect balance between style and simplicity.

To top it off, there’s a discreet ‘VI’ on the front of the console, referencing the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 game.

Could We See a Real GTA 6 Themed PS5 Pro?

Although GTA 6 won’t be exclusive to PlayStation, Sony has a history of working with third-party developers to release special edition consoles.

This means it’s not out of the question that a GTA 6 themed PS5 Pro could become a reality when the game launches next year.

Sony currently offers custom faceplates for the PS5, but it’s unclear if the same option will be available for the new PS5 Pro.

The Pro model features a new design with multiple stripes separating the top and bottom of the console covers.

While the PS5 Slim still allows for removable covers, it remains to be seen if the same will apply to the Pro version.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you decide to buy the PS5 Pro with a disc drive, you’ll need to make sure it matches your custom design.

Otherwise, you might end up with a mismatched console that doesn’t look quite right.
