December is just around the corner, and it’s hard to believe that in three months, it will be a year since the GTA 6 reveal trailer dropped. It seems like we’re entering what I call “The Danger Zone.”
This is the perfect time for Rockstar Games to drop another teaser, maybe a gameplay trailer or some new screenshots.
GTA 6 already has a lot of hype, but Rockstar will want to keep the excitement alive. A new teaser around the one-year anniversary makes sense.
If the game is still set to release in Fall 2025, a December teaser would be about nine months before launch. Marketing needs to ramp up soon, and we’re getting close to that time.
While we wait for the gameplay reveal, it looks like Rockstar Games might have accidentally teased GTA 6 through their PC launcher. It’s not confirmed that GTA 6 is coming to PC, but it seems very likely.
According to PC Gamer, a recent update to GTA Online added BattlEye anti-cheat software. Dataminers, like Tez2, found some interesting files in this update.
Tez2 tweeted that the update “accidentally included metadata for RDR1 PC,” a port that’s been rumored for months. An announcement for this port is probably coming soon.
RockstarIntel also noticed a folder named ‘Americas’ in the update, which sounds a lot like GTA 6. Before its full reveal, GTA 6 was known as Project Americas. This suggests that the game is coming to PC, so we might hear from Rockstar Games soon.
