Rumors are flying about another possible delay for GTA 6, making fans worry about when they can finally play the game.
But now, there’s exciting news. A release date and full map for the highly awaited Rockstar game have been leaked. And the source of this information is quite unexpected.
Currently, GTA 6 is expected to launch in the fall of 2025. This means we have about a year to wait for one of the most anticipated games ever.
However, fans wanting more solid information are now looking at a rumor from someone very close to Rockstar—a cleaner in their London office.
Yes, you read that right. According to a cleaner from Rockstar’s London office, GTA 6 is set to launch on September 25. The cleaner reportedly saw the full “huge” map and the release date.
The cleaner, who worked at the office for six months, described seeing “the final frame of a trailer or some sort of ad” with a GTA logo and “September 25” underneath it.
In a now-deleted Reddit post, they said:
“The map looked huge. I saw it briefly on a monitor while passing by one of the developers. It seemed like there were 2-3 big clusters of roads, which I assume were cities or towns.
“I also saw some game art with Jason and Lucia standing next to each other. Jason had a sawed-off shotgun and a black bandana, pointing a gun at a store clerk. Lucia had a pistol and a red bandana, filling a duffel bag with liquor from behind the counter.”
This scene is now familiar to us all as it appeared in the first official GTA 6 trailer released last December.
While it’s smart to take this news with a grain of salt, if it’s true, we won’t have to wait much longer.
