It’s no surprise that almost every gamer is eagerly waiting for the release of GTA 6. But, some fans are taking things to the next level—by literally camping outside Rockstar Games’ offices in hopes of catching a glimpse or leak of the game.
Since GTA 6 was first announced, the game has been surrounded by numerous leaks and rumors.
This is understandable given it’s one of the most highly anticipated games ever. However, Rockstar has only released one official trailer, and that was almost a year ago, leaving fans feeling a bit desperate.
In fact, some fans have resorted to setting up camp outside Rockstar’s offices, even snapping pictures through the windows.
This was highlighted in a post on r/GTA6. The post read, “People are allegedly camping outside Rockstar Offices to try and take photos of GTA 6,” and included three blurry photos of what looks like a computer screen.
The images were shared on Twitter by user Crzy65 with the caption, “y’all need better blinds,” but the pictures and short video didn’t reveal much.
Despite the lack of new info, the situation sparked some amusement in the thread. One user commented, “Bunch of idiots. The easiest way to deal with a game release far off is to just ignore it and focus on playing other games.”
Another user explained the tight security at Rockstar’s offices: “Gameplay testing happens inside a closed conference hall. Even the higher-ups have to leave their phones in lockers. If someone needs to keep their phone due to an emergency, security uses blackout tape on their phone cameras. Those desks by the windows are for accounting, nothing interesting.”
In the end, these photos didn’t provide any new details about GTA 6. But it’s fascinating to see how far some fans are willing to go just to get a sneak peek.
