Some fans believe that a popular actor from The Boys might be playing a major role in GTA 6!
It’s been more than nine months since we got our first look at the new main characters of GTA 6.
However, Rockstar Games hasn’t officially revealed the male protagonist’s name, or who voices him.
Leaks that came out around the same time as the reveal of Lucia, the female lead, suggest that the male character is named Jason. So, we can be pretty sure about that.
Who Is Playing Jason in GTA 6?
The internet has been filled with fan theories about who might be playing or voicing Jason.
Recently, a new name has entered the conversation—Antony Starr, best known for playing Homelander in The Boys. Fans of the show will instantly recognize him.
But is he really Jason? While some fans think so, we aren’t so sure.
Starr looks like he could be a GTA character, especially when he’s not in his Homelander look. However, we believe the voice we hear in the GTA 6 trailer doesn’t match Starr’s.
Even though Jason only says one word, “Trust,” in the trailer, those who have heard more of his dialogue in the 2022 gameplay leaks agree that it doesn’t sound like Starr’s voice.
Why Antony Starr Might Not Be Jason?
One reason we doubt Starr is playing Jason is because Rockstar usually picks lesser-known actors to play their main characters.
It’s rare for them to choose a big star like Starr. However, it’s worth remembering that GTA 6 has been in development for years, possibly before The Boys became a hit.
Even though the idea of Starr playing Jason has become popular on Reddit, many fans don’t think it’s true.
One Reddit user, Jazzar1n0, said, “He’s a great actor, but he’s not Jason.”
Who Is the Real Voice Behind Jason?
Right now, we still don’t know who is playing Jason in GTA 6. He didn’t appear much in the first trailer, and with only one word of dialogue, it’s hard to figure out his voice.
At this point, our best guess is Gregory Connors, who has been rumored for a while. Other names being thrown around include Jake Silbermann and Dylan Rourke. But for now, we’ll have to wait and see which actor is really behind Jason.
