It’s another day, and we still don’t have the second official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI.
The first trailer came out in December last year, and it’s now been ten months without any new updates on this much-awaited game from Rockstar.
There’s no doubt that GTA VI is one of the most anticipated games ever, so it’s no surprise fans are eagerly waiting for any signs of the next trailer.
The first trailer, which got over 100 million views within 24 hours, introduced us to the new main characters, Jason and Lucia. They’ll be causing chaos in a revamped Vice City and nearby areas, and the trailer showed off a very Florida-like vibe.
But since it’s almost been a year since that trailer, fans are really hoping for a new one soon, especially with GTA VI expected to launch in fall 2025.
Earlier this week, many fans thought we might get a trailer on October 4th after that date was hinted at in a GTA Online Pizza Delivery update. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.
There’s still hope, though. Rockstar Dundee is currently looking for a Screenshot Capture Artist. This job involves taking in-game screenshots for marketing purposes. And honestly, doesn’t that sound like they’re gearing up for a new trailer?
The job description even says, “This process is like street photography but in a virtual 3D game world.”
The good news is that this role could be part of preparing for the next official trailer. The bad news? If they’re only now hiring, it might take a bit longer before we see it.
Either way, it’s exciting to see GTA VI moving forward as we get closer to its release next year!
