A leaked GTA VI screenshot has Grand Theft Auto fans buzzing on social media.
We all know the next Grand Theft Auto game is going to be huge. When Rockstar Games released the first GTA VI trailer in December 2023, everyone got excited.
It’s been a year since that trailer, and fans are eager for the next one. Rumors say we might get it soon.
But with Rockstar Games’ history, the next trailer might leak before its official release, just like the leaks that happened before the first trailer.
Recently, there was another supposed leak. This time, it was a screenshot of the gameplay. The Twitter account ‘GTA 6 Countdown’ shared the image, which was quickly taken down by Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive.
Fans wondered if the screenshot was fake, maybe made by AI. But the DMCA takedown made many believe it was real.
One user, This_Juggernaut_9901, said, “This user’s post got copyright struck, but just the image. What’s weird though is the image was AI-generated. Could this mean anything or not?”
Another fan, Dry-Fault-5557, said, “It was an enhanced version of a 2022 screenshot.”
Redditor TurboLightGamer69 explained, “It was a concept created with AI by an admin from the main Discord server. According to the account, the DMCA was issued due to AI used by Take-Two, called Tracer AI, which likely mistook the concept for a leak.”
So, it seems the screenshot was real but just an improved version of an older one. Fans are now hoping Rockstar Games will release the second GTA VI trailer soon.
As of now, Grand Theft Auto VI is set to come out in late 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The release date for the PC version hasn’t been announced yet.
